Once we knew that Tiger Woods was all set to go for the 2022 Masters at Augusta National the next questions were about who he would play with and their tee times – now we have all that info.
Tiger of course will not be winning at Augusta in 2022 – he is 16 shots off the lead after Round 3. But he will still be around Sunday to complete a remarkable comeback from horrific injuries sustained in that car wreck.
Instead we are likely to get Scottie Scheffler and Cameron Smith battling it out Sunday for the Green Jacket. Scheffler leads the tournament on -9 with Smith three back on -6. It looks at this stage like the only other man with any shot is South Korean Sung-Jae Im on -4. The rest are praying for miracles – several of them.
