Paul’s Parlay: A stellar EPL weekend bet just for you

Apr 17, 2021Jun 11, 2021 Paul Arizona

Nothing spices up a soccer weekend more than an EPL parlay, and we have a beauty for you as Paul’s Parlays makes its debut on OddsCritic.

We’ve picked out three stellar bets to group in a parlay which would pay out a $90.50 profit for just a $10 stake.

The games we’ve chosen are across Sunday and Monday, so there is plenty to keep your interest throughout the weekend slate.

Why Paul’s Parlay?

Why should you trust Paul’s Parlays? Pretty simple really – years and years of experience.

Paul Arizona is soccer expert par excellence – there are few better. He cut his teeth writing for some of the biggest soccer brands in Europe, and now he’s taken his talents across the pond.

This column is the first of many, and we’ll keep a running check of how he is performing overall. Remember, our job is to help you win cash…

And now to the games.

Sunday April 18: Arsenal v Fulham (0830 ET, NBCSN)

Arsenal’s form post-Europa League games on Thursdays is shaky at best;  Leicester, Aston Villa, Wolves, Burnley and Manchester City have all beaten them at the Emirates after a Thursday fixture, and Fulham is well positioned to do the same.

All of Arsenal’s focus is now on winning the Europa League to gain entry into the Champions League next season, so expect changes to its starting lineup.

Fulham, meanwhile, is entering do-or-die time. The Cottagers are six points from safety and have just six games remaining. They may be on a four-game losing run, but won the expected goals battle in their last three, games which could have gone either way.

If you’re brave, you can get as big as +400 for Fulham to win (FanDuel), but we’ll take the +114 available for them not to lose – double chance it is.

Sunday April 18: Man Utd v Burnley (1100 ET, NBCSN)

United traditionally doesn’t score many at home after playing in Europe in midweek; only the victory over Newcastle brought more than 2.5 goals.

With Burnley notoriously tough defensively – and also having a fine record at Old Trafford, winning 2-0 there last season – expect a tight game with little in the way of goals.

We’ll take Under 2.5 goals at the +106 available.

Monday April 19: Leeds United vs Liverpool (1500 ET, NBCSN)

Leeds are huge odds to win this one given the various difficulties suffered by Liverpool this season. Jurgen Klopp’s champions now have effectively nothing to play for just a year on from winning the title in dominant style. Things just aren’t getting any better for them. Most of the squad, and likely the coach, would welcome the end of the season at this point.

Leeds, meanwhile, are still in red-hot form in their first season back in the big time, have the type of high-energy game whichcould make Liverpool suffer, and still have a chance of making Europe for next season.

The +380 for them to win outright is worth considering, but the +128 in the double chance market looks too good to turn down.

Paul’s Parlay – This Week’s Picks

Sunday April 18: Fulham, double chance @ +114

Sunday April 18: Man Utd v Burnley, Under 2.5 goals @ +106

Monday April 19: Leeds, double chance @ +128

All with DraftKings

NB: Parlay pays $90.50 profit on a $10 stake = $100.50 total payout
